You're a smart entrepreneur or brand manager. You already know that a strong and consistent brand voice has the power to set you apart from the competition. But you ask yourself...
...“Can a copywriter really create a brand voice that builds a bond with consumers, and sounds like me, too?"
The answer is, absolutely!
I help great brands around the world discover the power of their voice
Logos, Pantone palette, typography... when it comes to brand identity, the visuals always get all the attention. But, they're only half the story.
Without a voice, your brand is just pretty packaging without a soul.
Brand voice is how you show up in the world. It’s how you speak to your audience—whether that’s through advertising, social media, or your website—and it's how you attract your ideal customers.
Whether you’re building a new brand from scratch or you’re a personal brand that depends on being you, a memorable and consistent voice is a a non-negotiable.
Why do I need a brand voice?
In a very crowded marketplace, a strong and consistent brand voice in copywriting is essential.
Together, we can develop a distinctive brand voice that…
-
Enhances your brand image and reputation.
-
Helps you stand out from the competition.
-
Builds trust and loyalty with your audience.
-
Speaks your customers’ language so they say “hell yes, take my money already.”
-
Helps you and your team write copy that reflects your brand's identity, values and goals.
-
Saves time and resources by streamlining the copywriting process.
What does a brand voice guide look like?
No 100-page-design-guidelines-that-no-one-will-ever-read here. It's an in-depth but super practical handbook that you and your team can use to sound consistent across all channels.
Consider it the blueprint to how you speak.
When we work together, here's what you'll walk away with:
-
Your brand’s story
-
Vision, mission and positioning
-
Values
-
Persona and personality traits
-
Voice map
-
Target audience personas
-
Words you would (and wouldn't) say
-
Tips for getting your writing read
-
Practical examples of how to put it all into action across different contexts and formats

How it works
1
Brand strategy kickoff
You'll get a brand questionnaire to fill out which gives me an overview of your brand, and gives you the details needed for a successful partnership. From there, we’ll get the ball rolling with a 90-minute Zoom strategy session.
2
Brand voice guidelines
Next, I analyse your competitors and get to know your customers. I'll use my findings combined with the insights from our Zoom session to create your very own brand voice guidelines—accompanied by a video explaining my decisions.
3
Review and handover
Using Google Docs to collaborate, we’ll go through one round of revisions to make sure you've got everything you need to write powerfully, authentically, and consistently. And then (if you want), I’ll help you turn that voice into magnetic copy.
Ideal for you if...
-
You're just starting out and you want a memorable voice from the get-go.
-
You're rebranding and have the visual identity, but not the verbal identity.
-
You're planning to onboard other writers and you need them to sound on brand, at all times.
-
You've got some basic tone of voice guidelines but they're clearly not enough as you have to spend hours editing other people's work.
I've already got guidelines, do I really need new ones?
Ok, I hear you.
And as a copywriter, I've seen quite a few of them.
But simply saying a brand sounds 'Friendly', 'Conversational' and 'Warm' (isn't everyone?) with a few words you do and don't like just won't cut it.
Using a unique process backed by strategy and insights, I’ll craft the verbal code you need to sound consistent—wherever you communicate.
